Camping with the Van der Plus family

The Labour Day weekend saw the Callister's join the Van der Plus family in a camping weekend at Portarlington. This was our first weekend away, armed with a brand new tent and a multitude of hand me downs (thanks Gordie) we headed to the seaside resort nestled between Geelong on Queenscliffe. Our first night almost put us off camping for good as the adjoining Showgroud was filled during the night for its annual show. The show itself was ok, but the ground didn't need the practice at 5am.
